Unibag reusable vegetable bags and sachets have been evaluated and certified by DIN CERTCO as biobased products. DIN CERTCO’s Biobased certification certifies that the bag is 100% PLA, which means that it does not contain conventional petroleum-based plastics, and its decomposition under appropriate conditions does not release toxic substances into the environment.
The following tests contain information on the non-woven textile type material of our Vegetable Reusable Bags. The result indicates that no petroleum-derived polymers are observed and the polymer composition is based entirely on polylactic acid (PLA).
The tests were performed by: Idiem, CECIM Mexico and Dictuc.
Resistance reports No. IDIEM’s 1845141 and 1356898 carried out according to DTC-PP-002 certify that the resistance to load in movement of the 55 g and 80 g bags is at least 20 kg.
On the other hand, we have the report developed by CECIM, for the 55, 75 and 85 gr. bags. This test determines the programming of tear strength, tensile strength and elongation at break.
The following document informs that Unibag’s reusable vegetable bags are treated in Armony Sustentable’s industrial composting plant, transforming them into compost in less than 180 days.
Resistance reports No. IDIEM’s 1245723-1 and 1245723-2 carried out according to DTC-PP-002 certify that the resistance to load in movement of Traditional TNT bags is at least 20 kg for promotional model bags and at least 30 kg for boutique model bags.
